The opinion expressed by the Archive Commission is determined on the basis of the most current knowledge acquired regarding the artistic production of Mario Schifano and can be changed at the discretion of the Archive only in case of significant objective evidence and documented occurred.
The issuance of the opinion constitutes an intellectual work performance pursuant to articles 2230 and following of the Italian Civil Code. Each Opinion about Authenticity shall be given unanimously by the members of the Technical Committee of the Archives and signed by the President.
The Commission's opinion will be given unanimously by the members and will be communicated to the applicant by sending a registered letter containing the certification or a brief negative opinion upon the Insertion of the Work in the Archive.
Regardless of the request for the Authentication and Archiving Opinion it is possible to request a Technical Report on the Work that illustrates in detail the technical-scientific and historical reasons underlying the issuance of the opinion itself. To obtain it, an explicit request must be made by paying what is described in the "Costs" section under "Drafting of the Technical Report on the Work".
