Request for Inclusion of the Work in the Archive

Before filling out the form, please read the Regulations and the Guide to preparing files on the page Archiving.

Please specify as much as possible the known data. It is important for the correct examination and placement of the Work within the artistic production of the Master.

Select the qualification of the person requesting and insert personal data. If the request is not processed by the owner, in the event of a positive outcome, the Certificate of Archiving will be sent to the address entered in the "Applicant's data" fields. In any case, enter the owner's data.

Select "Yes" if you authorize the Archivio to publish the indications on the type of ownership in the General Catalogue (e.g. Private collection, Name Surname of the owner, other)

Write the text you want to be published

Enter all the data necessary to fill out the invoice, which will be issued after receiving the bank transfer for the reimbursement of expenses for the consultancy activity.

If you don't know the title please write: Untitled

Is the signature present?

Exhibitions known (city, place of exhibition, exhibition title, date)

If you have the publication or a copy of the pages in which the work is reproduced, indicate: author, title of the text, title of the publication, date, page

Indicate the name, surname and email of the person who performed the photo shoot

NB: The high resolution file of the front of the work must be sent again via WeTransfer together with the other requested images
ATTENTION: the accepted file format for the photograph to be attached to the form is exclusively jpg

Leave empty if the image is purely decorative.

8. Acceptance and sending

Instructions

 The Request for Inclusion of the Work in the Archive is divided into two phases:

1. Filling out the form and uploading the image of the front of the work

  • Enter the Applicant/Owner's data, information on ownership and previous certifications, billing data, all information on the Work
  • Attach the image of the front of the Work
  • Accept the regulation and tick the Privacy policy
  • Save and Send the form

2. Sending documents and image files in high resolution (including, again, the front of the Work)

After sending the Form you will be redirected to the Confirmation Page which contains the button for sending files via the Archive's WeTransfer service.

You can use another equivalent service of your choice that guarantees sending large files.

Send the following files:

  • receipt of the bank transfer made out to:

Please indicate the applicant's name and surname in the reason for payment if different from the person making the transfer
It is possible to make a single cumulative payment for multiple Requests made at the same time.

  • images of the Work: front, back, signature, other details
  • previous archiving and/or authentication by the Artist
  • other useful documentation for the evaluation

No communication will be sent upon completion of the procedure.

If you use the WeTransfer service, you will receive a confirmation email, as part of the service itself and independently of the Archivio, when the files are downloaded.

In case of insufficient or non-compliant documentation, theArchivio Mario Schifano will contact the Applicant via email to request a new submission.

The Mario Schifano Archive will not be able to submit to the Commission's Opinion any Requests with missing documentation or which do not comply with what is described in the Regulation.

The Archivio is not open to the public.

Please do not send reminders or requests for information relating the status of the Archiving and wait for the official communication which is usually sent within 40 days following the meeting of the Commission for evaluations.
